How can you use a kitchen corner cabinet efficiently?
Corner kitchen cabinets offer a large amount of storage, but without the right mechanism, pots, pans, tableware and food supplies stored deep inside can be difficult to reach. Items are often pushed to the back, become hard to see and require the contents at the front to be removed first.
Kitchen corner systems turn this difficult-to-access area into practical storage. Rotating, pull-out or electrically lifting shelves move the contents closer to the user, making the corner convenient for everyday use.
When choosing a corner mechanism, consider the cabinet construction, door width, internal depth, corner type, expected load and whether the shelves should rotate, pull forward or rise to worktop level.
Easier access to cabinet contents
Shelves rotate or pull forward, so there is no need to reach deep into the corner cabinet.
More efficient use of the kitchen corner
The right mechanism makes use of space that often remains almost unused with simple fixed shelves.
A more convenient everyday kitchen
Pots, pans, small appliances and food products become visible, easier to organise and faster to reach.
Choose the corner system while the furniture is still being designed
It is best to select the mechanism before the cabinet is manufactured. Different systems require different carcass dimensions, door widths, fixing points and opening paths. Coordinating the mechanism with the furniture maker in advance helps prevent collisions between doors, handles and adjacent cabinets.
Which type of corner system should you choose?
There is no single universal solution for every corner cabinet. A compact corner may only need a carousel, a blind corner is often better served by pull-out shelves, while a contemporary premium kitchen can use an electric mechanism that lifts stored items to worktop level.

The Furnitanas range includes half-circle, three-quarter and 270-degree carousels. The right model depends on the cabinet construction, door position and corner layout.

How does Qanto-Pullout differ from the standard Qanto?
Two electric lifting options
Qanto and Qanto-Pullout
Both Qanto and Qanto-Pullout electrically lift shelves hidden inside the corner cabinet to worktop level. The main difference is that the lower tray of the Pullout version can also move forward onto the work surface.
-
Standard Qanto is suitable when electric shelf lifting alone is sufficient.
-
Qanto-Pullout provides better access to heavier or larger items on the lower tray.
-
Both versions allow conventional pull-out drawers or cabinets to be used on either side of the corner.
-
Both preserve a flat worktop surface when the mechanism is lowered and not in use.
What should you check before ordering a corner system?
Measure the internal cabinet width, depth and height, and check the door width and opening direction. Also consider the position of adjacent fronts, handles, the oven, dishwasher and other mechanisms.
If heavy pots or appliances will be stored in the corner cabinet, check the load capacity of each shelf. Electric mechanisms also require a planned power connection and precise furniture-construction dimensions.
