HAWA Concepta III 15 – pocket doors now also for smaller furniture

The HAWA Concepta III family has been expanded with the new Concepta III 15 Push and Pull systems. The biggest innovation is the possibility to use pocket doors not only for tall cabinets or concealed kitchens, but also for base kitchen cabinets, kitchen islands and other compact furniture.
The Concepta III operating principle remains the same: the door is first pivoted by 90° and then slid into a narrow pocket at the side of the cabinet. When the cabinet is open, the door does not obstruct the worktop, shelves or cabinet interior – the entire functional area remains freely accessible.

Concepta III 15 can be used from a door height of just 600 mm and a door width of 350 mm. This significantly extends the use of HAWA pocket systems in compact furniture.

PUSHConcepta III 15 Push – for a seamless handleless front
The PUSH version is designed for minimalist furniture where a clean, uninterrupted front is required. The door is activated with a gentle push – no handle is needed.

With the PULL version, the door is pulled out and closed using a handle. An integrated soft-closing mechanism ensures comfortable and controlled movement.

Concepta III 15, 25 or 35 – which system should you choose?
The new Concepta III 15 systems fill the previously missing niche for low and compact fronts. The easiest way to select the right version is according to door height and weight.

More possibilities for cabinet construction
Concepta III 15 is not limited to one standard cabinet construction. HAWA technical documentation presents several installation principles, allowing the system to be adapted to different cabinet geometries.
1. Classic base cabinet construction
Classic base cabinet construction in which the closed front covers the upper and lower parts of the cabinet structure. Suitable for kitchen islands, low cabinets and other compact furniture zones.
2. Base cabinet without a bottom panel
The system can also be designed without a continuous cabinet bottom panel. This provides greater flexibility when combining Concepta III 15 with other cabinet constructions.
3. Inset doors
An inset-front version is also possible, with the closed doors integrated inside the cabinet body. This allows precise front lines to be maintained and the system to be adapted to different furniture aesthetics.
4. Combined cabinet
Concepta III 15 can be integrated into a combined cabinet construction, for example above drawers or another functional part of the furniture.
The HAWA technical drawings shown illustrate different Concepta III 15 installation situations. When designing a specific cabinet, the dimensions indicated in the drawings, HAWA technical documentation and project-specific data generated by the configurator must be followed.

HAWA Concepta III – more freedom in furniture design
Concepta III 15 expands the HAWA pocket-door family into a completely new furniture segment. The same pivot-and-slide principle can now be used from fronts only 600 mm high up to Concepta III 35 doors 2700 mm high.
This makes it possible to use the same HAWA technology for low kitchen islands and base cabinets, concealed kitchens, home offices, bar or coffee zones and full-height cabinet walls.
